Family owned and operated for over 45 years, our farm began with just enough Colorado Spruce in the ground to fill a small patch. Today, we continue to grow the Colorado Spruce along with many other hardy trees suited for our area. We currently have over 20,000 trees in production on about 60 acres.
Our goal is to supply hardy, locally grown shelterbelt trees at competitive prices. We are also pleased to contribute to our local economy by purchasing local supplies and services. We also value hiring local students on a seasonal basis.
Colorado Spruce, Swedish Aspen, Poplar, Ash and Manitoba Maple, make up most of what trees we grow and sell. Some of the shrubs we offer include lilacs, cotoneaster and Mugo Pine. We also sell bare root plants for shelter belts and hedges. The bulk of our sales go to retail customers who own acreages or farms, and many of these customers also have us install the trees at an additional cost.
